Sofapaka’s 1-0 dispatched FC Talanta to secure their first win of the season, ending a run of four draws and two losses since the start of the 2022/23 FKF Premier League campaign.

Ambrose Sifuna sent the ball to the back of the net in the 25th minute to give Batoto Ba Mungu the win.

Later on, Kenya Police hit Wazito 4-0 to also secure their first win of the season. Marvin Omondi and Duke Abuya struck in the first half while Elvis Rupia and Lesley Otieno scored after the restart.

At the Bukhungu Stadium, Sharks held Kakamega Homeboyz to a 1-1 draw.

Michael Karomor grabbed the lead for Kakamega Homeboyz in the 69th minute but Sharks’ Kevin Musamali scored a late equalizer for the visitors converting an 86th minute penalty.
