Song And Dance As Babu Owino Is Declared Winner Of Embakasi East Seat

Incumbent  Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has been declared the winner In Embakasi East in the just concluded polls. 

Babu retained his seat after clinching 53,195 votes against his main opponent from UDA  Francis  Mureithi who garnered  26, 699votes.

Babu Owino’s supporters broke into song and dance at the East African School of Aviation  that served  as Constituency tallying centre.

The MP thanked the Embakasi East constituency residents residents for supporting  his dream  and turning up in large numbers to vote  him.

“I want  to thank  the great people  of Embakasi  for voting for me as your MP ,it shows  the confidence  you had in me,I will work hard to complete the projects we had started  and make Embakasi East Constituency  great,” Babu said.

Earlier on Babu Owino  supporters had stormed the tallying centre at EASA  protesting the delayed declaration of results.
