East African artists are mourning the death of famous Ugandan songwriter Saxess Busulwa who passed on this Wednesday December 13th.

The Ugandan songwriter passed on after undergoing an abdominal surgery at Rubaga Hospital in Kampala.

Busulwa is said to have had a relapse from an operation he had a years ago after a serious road accident. He was then admitted back to hospital in July this year when metal implants in his hip bone broke but was later discharged.

The songwriter was once again admitted to hospital this December after developing another complication and passed on just a few days later.

Busulwa is famed for hit songs such as Nameless’s Butterfly,Gold digger by Jackie Chandiru and Ediba by Juliana Kanyamozi among many others.

Details for the funeral arrangement are yet to be released to the public.
