Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo are involved in a bitter exchange of words on Social Media, an incident that has seen Sonko call Millie a barren woman.
The exchange between Millie and Sonko started after an outburst Sonko made at the Memorial Service of Kibra MP Ken Okoth.
Millie then shared a post by Mildred Atty that criticised Sonko’s act and questioned his intelligence.
“Widowed in a foreign land and then some shameful Governor bloviates! Verbal Diarrhea( wear her shoes
For just one sec! This woman, had stood and supported Ken throughout his ailment, where were the body claimers then? He even acknowledged her, not “them” Have a common sense filled day ahead all,” read the post in part.
Sonko the answered Millie Odhiambo accusing her of being in the front-line in refusing to acknowledge a former senator
“Nawewe Milly usijifanye wewe haufanywi. Kwanza history never forgets, unajifanya kutetea wamama and yet you were in the front line kukataa kuacknowledge watoto wa bibi wa pili of a certain prominent Senator when he died,” wrote Sonko.
In the post, Sonko also chided Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura who accused him of looking for bonga points at the funeral.
Millie however seemed irked with Sonko’s post promising her followers to take Sonko who has had a previous tiff with Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris.
In her new post Millie described Sonko as a happy pig in politics who thrives on populism and slut shaming women.
“My good friend and young brother Sonko, let me tell you something, I am a lawyer- an intellectual if you may, who is also happily a pig while in politics. I am NEVER intimidated by bullies like you who thrive on populism devoid of intellect that often slut-shames women. My response to you will be both intellectual and pigerly. You can hire a lawyer to translate for you the intellectual bit. The pigerly bit of course needs no translation coz it’s your expertise,” said Millie.
Millie further listed a number of bills she has presented to parliament in protection of women and children in Kenya.
The incident further escalated to the extent of Sonko calling Millie a barren woman who doesn’t know the pain of getting a child.
