Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has threatened to join the National Super Alliance if Jubilee Party continues to frustrate him.
Speaking during a radio interview, Sonko says he is willing to work with any party that will support his ideologies and policies including NASA.
“If NASA will offer Kidero a cabinet post and offers me the Governor’s post, and Jubilee continues frustrating me, i will take it very fast. I am ready to work with any party that is ready to support my campaign policies,” he said during the radio interview.
Sonko says he is aware of plans by some MPs to make him vie as an independent candidate so that he divides Kidero’s votes.
He also expressed confidence that he will be on the ballot paper in 2017 as governor.
“I will be on the ballot paper and not on an independent ticket because there are tribal Jubilee MPs who are fighting me so that i stand on an independent ticket. Am telling them to forget that,” he added.
Sonko presented his nomination papers to Jubilee amid claims of the party attempting to block him.
