Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary General Willson Sossion is currently facing a very stiff competition two new competitors in the forth coming KNUT elections.
The top contestants eying the SG seat alongside Sossion are his firebrand chairman Collins Oyuu and Kericho Branch SG Stanley Mutai.
Oyuu has however questioned the manner in which the affairs of the forth coming elections are being run.
In an interview with Ghetto Radio News, Oyuu accused Sossion of running the elections affairs without consulting the National Executive Council which he is part to.
According to Oyuu, the venue and number of delegates remain two key things that can decide who takes the day.
“We have agreed to use the current register and as we speak now the number of delegates stands at 1,847 from 110 branches. This is as per the register we used when elections were being conducted in branches,” he said.
Sossion in a notice had stated that they will announce the election date before June.
