The song dubbed ‘Dihawks’ was produced by a Kenyan producer hence the Gengetone beats.
Speaking about the track, the producer Mike G, popularly known as Forever said he sent the beats to Madjozi’s team and she agreed to work on the song.
“I thank God so much for the blessings! It’s amazing to get to work with Sho Madjozi and her whole team. It’s great to hear what she did with a Genegtone beat.” Mike G said
Mike G says he is happy with the project and hopes that African artists will work to diversify music cultures beyond their home borders.
“I can’t wait to hear what other great collaborations are in store for the continent of Africa. Would love to hear Kenyan artists try Amapiano and Ghanaian artists try Kizomba. There is so much we can learn from each other.” He added
