Speaker Elachi Holds Prayers For Nairobi MCAs 


Nairobi County Speaker  is now calling on the Members of the County Assembly to embrace peace in the assembly for the sake of Nairobi residents and steer developments in their respective wards.

Elachi who led the MCAs in a prayer meeting also called on the members who were sent packing by their political  parties in the recent leadership shake up to accept change  and move on.

‘‘We are all leaders and  I want to tell everyone that today you are one,  tomorrow you are doing another thing can’t be selfish  a good leader is  the one who leaves legacy and leaves others to pick where you left,’’ she said.

She further revealed that they are waiting for a person  to be seconded from parliament to act as clerk before assembly service board does recruitment of a new clerk.

Former assembly clerk Jacob Ngwele was fired by the board after it emerged that the first assembly violated  the law in recruiting him.
