Jamaican female dancehall singer and businesswoman Grace Latoya Hamilton popularly known as Spice has appealed to Jamaican law enforcers for the release of fellow incarcerated dancehall Star Vybz Kartel as the latter marked his 47th birthday.
Taking to her social media platform, Instagram,Spice shared the cover photo of their collaborative piece with Kartel ‘Romping Shop’ and wished the jailed star a happy birthday maintaining that she won’t forget what Kartel did to her.
She went ahead and affirmed her love for the ‘Klarks’ singer while appealing for his release.

Many joined the commentary section and wished Kartel well on his birthday, some sought to know when their next collaboration will be out as they gave a thumbs up for Spice in standing up with his long time friend.

However, others took offense and reminded Spice to let the law take it’s course for Kartel’s ills no matter what good he did to her.
“Wow so because he did something for you you want him freed even though he committed murders took away some people’s sons” shot one fan.

Kartel Introduced Spice To Dancehall Music.
Spice seems to be giving Vybz Kartel his flowers for it’s through the ‘World Boss’ that she became known through their 2009 collaboration ‘Romping Shop’.

Though locked up, Spice and Kartel have remained inseparable through music.
In 2014,They did the song ‘Conjugal visit’ followed by ‘Back Way’ in 2019.
Spice has always maintained that her friendship with Kartel is platonic and not romantic.
During their first collaboration in ‘Romping Shop’, She revealed not liking the track for being slow, however, she gave it her all and blew up.
Kartel Is Locked For Life.
Vybz Kartel also referred to as the ‘world Boss’ is serving a life sentence for the 2011 murder of Clive Williams also known as Lizard.
Kartel is eligible for parole after serving 35 years in prison.His other co accused serving jail terms are Shawn Campbell and Kahira Jones.
Kartel shares his January 7th birthday with other world notable figures like Kenyan Opposition Chief Raila Odinga and Soccer Star Eden Hazard.
