SportPesa has today distributed kits to 33 teams in Uasin Gishu county under the Kits for Africa program.
The gaming company which has recently launched its Euro campaign to reward customers with daily, weekly and monthly cash prizes said it will continue scouting for grassroot football teams to support under its Kits for Africa project.
“Football remains a key project under our operations and we are keen to support those who want to nurture their talent in this field.
Kits for Africa is one of the many ways we want to prop up budding talent and we plan to continue doing this in the long-term,” said SportPesa Public Relations Manager Lola Okulo.
The company distributed kits to 32 men and women’s football teams among them Chepkwoyo Women Fc from Kesses Sub- County, Fulcom Women FC from Moiben Sub-County, Chepkanga FC, Ainabkoi FC, Moiben Fc, Mfalme Fc and Tiuyoluk FC among others.
Kits for Africa is an initiative that encourages football communities abroad to donate their old kit to under-privileged grassroot teams across Africa. This initiative has led to over 50,000 kits collected and passed on to football loving communities in Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania among other countries in the continent.
This marks the sixth year that SportPesa is operating the campaign as it continues to build and develop grassroot football as part of the company’s pledge to transform lives through sports.

The SportPesa Euro campaign will reward customers daily, weekly and monthly with Ksh1,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000 as grand prize respectively. Winners will be picked via machine draw as per schedule stated. The promotion is dubbed Jijenge na Euro.
