Stanje Mgenge Putting Kenyan Music On The World Map

Australian based Kenyan born rapper Stanley Mwendwa commonly known as Stanje Mgenge  is putting the Kenyan sound on the world map thanks to his mad love for music.

In an exclusive interview with Ghetto Radio News Team via telephone, Stanje Mgenge pointed out love and passion for music as his main motivation. “Am a Kenyan born rapper residing in Australia,I am a diverse rapper with too much love, respect and passion for the Kenyan music” Stated Stanje Mgenge.

Good Relationship With Kenyan Music Star’s

With nearly 8 years living on foreign land, Stanje Mgenge has maintained a cordial relationship with visiting  leading Kenyan  music star’s from Nyashinki, Otile Brown Octopizzo among others.

 “I have earned trust with  top Kenyan artist’s as witnessed with how i promote the Kenyan music scene in Australia, I rub shoulders with these artist’s during their tours the likes of Nyashinki, Octopizzo, Otile Brown and Dj Creme Dela Creme just to name but a few, “he said.

He has also featured on shows with other world entertainers from Jamaican female dancehall Singer Cecil,Nigerian Star’s Bracket and  Comedian Mr Ibu among others.

 Surviving The Covid Pandemic

With the emergence of the Covid pandemic, Stanje Mgenge is grateful for having navigated through the tumultuous period which included travel restrictions such as lockdowns, social distancing and others.

Being a certified Mechanical Engineer dealing in automotives and plant equipment he was guaranteed on movement as an essential worker but things became tough when his city faced a total knockdown. However,things are opening up and he’s looking forward to a more fruitful future.

Stanje Mgenge has been active in the musical industry by releasing songs under his label AC5 which boasts of other signed artist’s from West Africa – Sierra Leon namely Aldeen and Vee Flex.
