Stranded KCPE candidate finally finds well wisher to pay her high school fee
On Friday 25 January, Ghetto Radi highlighted the plight of Samantha Wandera who had scored 371 in her KCPE in 2018.
Wandera received an admission at Moi Girls’ Eldoret but was unable to report to the school for admision because of lack of school fee.
The teenage girl is now a happy soul after a well wisher came to her aid and offered to cover her high school tuition.
Wandera has been raised by her father after her mother left when she was just a baby, days after her results came out, her father also left her for what the teenage girl can only term as ‘being unable to raise fee.”
Samantha is set to report to Moi Girls’ in Eldoret tomorrow.
Angela Waitherero who has been living with the girl in Nairobi’s Githurai area has thanked all those who helped her in her search for Samantha’s sponsorship.
“Everything has turned out well since the announcement and a well wisher has come out to help Wandera. I am very thankful to Ghetto Radio and everyone who helped.” She said
As it is good news, Samantha’s colleague Mary Njoki from Mwiki Primary is still looking for a well wisher to help her secure her place in high school.
Njoki scored 280 marks in her KCPE but has not been able to go to school because her grand mother can not afford the tuition fee.
