Supreme Court upholds Uhuru’s win

All petitions dismissed


The Supreme Court has upheld president Uhuru Kenyatta’s re election in the October 26 presidential election.

The unanimous decision was reached by a six judge bench that dismissed the two petitions filed to challenge the election.

The two petitions were filed by Kilometres MP Harun Mwau and other activists Njonjo Mue and Khalifa Khalifa.

Chief Justice David Maraga stated that the court shall give a full verdict within 21 days.
