Police on Wednesday evening shot dead a suspected thug in Nairobi’s Dandora Phase five.
Police say the suspect was among a gang of five thugs that were trying to rob a woman in the area.
The thug’s body was recovered from a sewer water after it was hit by the bullet from the police.
The other four suspects managed to escape.
Police recovered a home made gun from the slain suspect.
“Dandora phase 5 , five young boys attacked a woman and attempted to rob her, but fortunately the police were on their radar. One of the suspects was thrown into a sewage by the force of the bullet that hit him,” said the police.
