Police have arrested three foreign nationals linked to a series of robberies in Kajiado West sub County region.
The three Boniface Lesagi, Joseph Ole Ntito and Lekina Monoi were arrested around Shompole Market after allegedly shooting at a lorry and forcing it to stop.
According to the police, the three then robbed seven individuals thousands of shillings and their mobile phones.
“The trio, all foreigners from a neighboring country, were arrested following a robbery incident where a lorry was shot at and forced to stop,” said the DCI in a tweet.
Police recovered an AK 47 rifle from the trio.
“Seven individuals lost thousands of shillings and their mobile phones, some of which were recovered from a motor vehicle Reg No. KBA 626Q which the robbery suspects were traveling in,” tweeted the DCI.
