Two suspected phone snatchers have been set ablaze today morning after a botched robbery operation.The two unidentified young men were lynched by the public along the busy Ngong Road opposite Double Tree Hotel.

The duo who were on a motorbike are said to have snatched a phone from a driver and their attempts to flee after committing the crime were countered by the public who with the help of bodaboda riders cornered them.

The two were beaten up before being lynched.

Mob Lynches Two Robbers in Pangani

In recent events, a disturbing incident unfolded when two individuals suspected of theft were reportedly set on fire by an enraged mob at Pangani shopping center in Nairobi.

The two also used the motorbike tactic to snatch from a passerby around the center near a Petro petrol station.

By the time the police were responding to an alarm raised by one of the residents, they found the lifeless bodies that were burnt beyond recognition at the scene.
