Suspected thug was on Wednesday morning shot dead by police in Nairobi’s Korogocho slums.
The suspect was in the company of three others and had been attacking and robbing pedestrians when an alarm was sounded.
Police said they recovered a home-made gun and crude weapons from the slain suspect.

Some of the items that had been robbed from pedestrians were also recovered.
His accomplices escaped on foot.
Another thug was also shot dead last night in Ngara Grogan area while robbing motorists and pedestrian.
The thug was in the company of other seven accomplices who were taking valuables like phones and money from commuters.
The police shot one after they unknowingly stopped a plain clothes officer’s motorbike and demnaded that they give them their valuables.
A knife a pistol and phones were recovered from the slain thug.
