Tanzanian Artists Ask Suluhu To Resolve Rayvanny, Diamond’s Sh. 1 Billion Exit Stalemate

Tanzania artists have called on President Samia Suluhu to intervene and resolve the exit stalemate between WCB records and its signee bongo star Rayvanny.

Bongo Music legend Dudu Baya has reached out to Suluhu to have a sit down with WCB boss Diamond Platinumz and Rayvanny before the worst happens.

Rayvanny has found it difficult leave WCB records after Diamond demanded 1 billion TSh. payment in their exit clause.

“Rais Mama Samia Suluhu tumalize uhasama msaidieni Ray.Nikupe mfano mmoja AfterMath inamilikiwa na Dr. Dre , G Unit inamilikiwa na 50 Cen`t ukienda huko Kuna wengine pia Kwa hivyo lazima Muziki uwe na matawi yaani mimi nina kampuni yangu wewe kampuni Yako  na tuko pamoja ikitoka ngoma ya kwako  tunasapoti lakini sio kuwachana Kwa vita ndio tatizo la ujinga lililoko Tanzania…kwenye Muziki Kuna shida kubwa siasa na chuki,” he added.

“WCB wote Diamond,Ravanny,Mbosso,Zuchu na Lavalava hatuna ugomvi wowote yeye kaamua kuanzisha lable yake ya Next Level lakini wakati anajitoa Wasafi sikujua nilikua kule Dar es Salaam nikipokea hizo ripoti baadae kama ameamua kujitegemea lakini katoka Kwa amani ndio tunachotokiwa wasani,” Dudu Baya said.

Rayvanny has since stop performing in WCB concerts. He own Next Level Records with one signee who is doing well in the industry.

TV personality Mwijaku a close confidant to Diamond says Rayvanny is experiencing a rough time in his life at WCB and he do not have the amount being asked for as an exit clause.

Mwijaku,”invoice aliyopelekewa ni kubwa mno hawezi Toka Tena Kwa Sababu alisema mwanzo ataondoka lakini atakuwa chini ya WCB lakini waliowekeza naye wakamuuliza mboona usjijitegemee baadae akarudi akawambia management anataka kuondoka kabisa basi siku hiyo akapewa invoice ya  shilingi bilioni mbili au awache nyimbo zotee…. nakuambia Ray anaumia Sanaa.’’
