Veteran Bongo singer Godfrey Tumaini popularly known as Dudubaya has been banned from ever participating in Music.
The decision was shared by the Tanzanian government through its Music Regulatory Body (BASATA).
According to a report by the regulatory body, the decision to deregister and Dudubaya from involving himself in any music related activities was reached after failed to honor it’s summons.
The singer was ordered to present himself to the BASATA headquarters over violation of social media regulations and use of vulgar language towards fellow celebrities in Bongo Flava.
“Msanii Godfrey Tumaini anatakiwa kufika BASATA. Kwa Mahojiano Zaidi” reads part of the letter
