Tanzanian Musicians Defend Diamond Over Bad English On Netflix Show

0

Tanzanian musicians have come out to defend fellow musician Diamond Platinumz from criticism over his bad English at the newly launched show on Netflix.

Led by rapper Fid Q, the musicians said that there is nothing special about mastering English and speaking it fluently.

Diamond over the weekend was attacked by Kenyans On Twitter for allegedly butchering English on the new show.

“I am 31st years old,” the singer was heard saying in the show.

They also said that the fact that the musician does not know English does not make him stupid.

Kenyans on Twitter joke yao kubwa ni hamna ambao Watanzania hawawezijieleza kwa Kiingereza.

KOT attacked the WCB president saying that he should just stick to speaking Kiswahili since he was embarrassing East Africa.

“Instead of Diamond saying “I’m 31st Years old” why can’t he just use Kiswahili a language that he understands and has a vast grasp of? Why force things?” one Lord Abraham Mutai said.

“This reality show has no edits, has no cuts. It’s just Diamond Platinumz embarrassing the whole of East Africa Uncut,” Bravin Yuri added.
