Willy Paul’s war with Tanzanians seems not to be ending anytime soon, this is after his newest collaboration with popular Bongo Flava singer, Phina got rejected.

Taking through her Instagram, Phina shared a cozy photo with the Sitolia hitmaker while making the song’s announcement set to bormbard our speakers soonest.

However, Phina encountered rejection with many Tanzanians opining that she made a wrong choice of choosing Willy Paul who’s regarded as their enemy.

The backlash towards Phina was so overwhelming that she was branded a traitor for betraying her motherland over money allegedly coughed by Bwana Mkunaji.

Genesis Of Willy Paul’s Beef With Tanzanians

Willy Paul’s beef with Tanzanians erupted when he had a scuffle with Wasafi president, Diamond Platnumz at the Furaha Festival in Nairobi last year.

The confrontation saw Diamond refuse to perform with his management citing safety issues.

Additionally, Willy Paul’s venom stretched to Rayvanny whom he trashed their collaborative piece dubbed “Mmmh” when it was played during his performance set by the deejay.

Furthermore, Willy Paul was also recently involved in an online war of words with Konde Gang president, Harmonize over Burna Boy’s Nairobi concert.

These developments angered Tanzanians who waited for the opportune moment before they struck back.

We sampled a few of the dissenting reactions below.

“Hatumtaki na uo wimbo hatuta view”

“Hatuangalii hii video YouTube”

“Huyu kenge hatumtaki fanya na Wakenya wote sio huyo”

“We jinga Phina huyo hafai kushirikishwa dharau sana umejichanganya”

“Kwa huyo jamaa atukusupport mtapostiana wenyewe”

“Ukijaribu tu kuleta umekwisha”

“Huku anaomba tutoe takataka na bado anataka wasanii wetu”

“We are not ready na huyo boya”

Despite the widespread backlash, others welcomed the collaboration terming it a straight banger.
