Ten Families Left Homeless After Fire Tragedy In Kariobangi North

More than ten families have been left homeless following a fire that razed down houses at  Kariobangi North Yesterday evening.

Area youths and Niarobi County government fire brigade arrived on time and contained the fire before it could spread further.

According to the area MCA  Julius Miana Njoka  the area the fire spread fast because of the mabati structurs which are built close together.

‘’I give credit to Nairobi county fire brigade team for responding very fast and the youth who responded well before the fire fighters arrived. The fire was put out…It is unfortunate and very painful to see property lost and livelihoods messed. I am humbly appealing to well wishers to assist the affected families in every way possible as most of them were left homeless and devastated… We urgently need clothing, bedding, food stuffs, school learning materials and iron sheets’’ Njoka said.

Meanwhile those affected spent night in cold   with  no where to go.
