According to Holy Dave’s speech, he insisted that he did not win because he was the best but it was because of his passion. He added that he was never a chef and has never been a cook.

His slogan has always been “I am not a cook but I can cook”.
He had been a gospel artist and only started cooking for fun during the Covid 19. He went ahead and congratulated his fellow nominees.
Ombachi on the other side has always been known for his great skills for cooking. He is referred to as the roaming chef.
He even won awards of the most influential tiktoker in Africa after displaying his skills in cooking on tiktok.

He is famous for his famous chopping style and the words “chop it, done set aside” and if the heat gets in the way, believe that our good chef will be a sight for sore eyes.

It seemed a lot of people expected Ombachi to win the pulse award most influential cook but he didn’t. They took it to twitter and started saying that the elections were rigged and Ombachi deserves the win.
They are using a certain video in Holy Dave’s page where he’s making funny sounds. Holy Dave is only trying to express that the food is delicious but they say he is moaning.
