The individuals were carrying with them briefcases. Everyone took it to the internet and claimed Eve had been robbed at one of her homes.

However, the You tuber went ahead and said that it did not happen in one of her homes. It happened in one of the air BNBs she owns in Kilimani.

Mungai went on to share the sequence of events, explaining how the robbers posed as guests who claimed to be heading to the airport the following day and needed accommodation for the night.

Most of you misunderstood the information; we were robbed in one of the apartments we run as an Air BNB,” she explained.

How the Robbers Accessed the Appartment

Somebody who is an agent, who has been giving me clients, called and informed me about a client who was going to spend only a night. Usually, I never accept one-night clients, but because it was this agent who had recommended them, I said yes,” she further elaborated.

All this time, Eve was not aware that they were planning on stealing from her BNB apartment. She just received a call from her cleaner telling her about how messy the place was.

She was beyond shock and decided to go to the place and have a look. According to the videos shared by Mungai, the house was in chaos, with belongings scattered everywhere.

She promptly reported the incident to the police and pledged to pursue the matter until its resolution.

She went ahead and disclosed that the individuals had been doing this since May 2022 to other Air BNB owners. Eve disclosed that she lost valuables worth over Sh200, 000, although she has managed to replace most of what was taken during the incident.
