As always there’s no place as comforting as home and the renowned Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage uttered these special words to the crowd which was enjoying every bit of her performance at the Walker Town concert.
Tiwa who is just off her North American tour was well pleased by the reception she received from the Kenyan people right from the moment she touched down in the 254.
“You know what Nairobi, there’s no place like home…thanks alot for having me. I just concluded the American tour and it feels so good to be back home.” She expressed her excitement.
The Nigerian beauty was among the star-studded headliners of the event delivered an electrifying performance as she gave fans a taste of some of her old tunes as well as her most recent bangers.
Dressed in a purple figure-hugging jumpsuit, the ‘Koroba’ hitmaker could not let her shoes get in the way of her performance as she got rid of them after just a few minutes on stage, as she then continued delivering her tunes to the crowd.
Other top-tier artists who graced the Walker Town stage are Kenya’s high-flying rapper and singer Nyashinski, Congolese Rhumba sensation Fally Ipupa, and the dynamic South African female DJ duo, TxC.
