Kenyan prankster Nicki Big fish has narrated how one of his past pranks almost got him killed.
Speaking in a recent interview with Tuko, Nicki revealed that a man who thought they were about to kill someone pulled up and pointed a gun at him and his colleagues.
“There was this guy with a private firearm who pulled it on me wanting to shoot me. In fact, the guy was not the one I was pranking, we had placed one of our guys in a car and he looked in distress asking for help as we poured fake petrol (water) on the car, acting like we were going to set it on fire. So the guy was driving past and he saw this, got out of his car and pointed at me with the gun. With time and experience, you get to know which pranks are just too much and those that cross boundaries,” he said.
Earlier this year, the comedian was allegedly beaten by angry guys while shooting his show Jibonge.
The comedian took to Instagram at the time to share the news with his fans saying he was beaten after a prank went wrong, and his security team took long to respond.
“Bad day in office. Got roughed up by some angry guys, my security team did respond though not swiftly as they should. I’ll be back soon. Keep me in prayers ??” he wrote at the time
His fellow comedian and actor Dj Shiti took to Instagram to condemn the act, telling people that no matter how stressful they are, they shouldn’t beat a comedian since they are in the line of duty trying to put food on the table.
“Our boy today had a bad day in office… guyz manze no matter how stressful you are hapo kwa street usipige Msanii… #prank ni njia yao ya kutafuta unga wajameni… quick recovery @nicki_bigfish it shall be well kaka…” said the actor
