Three suspected thugs have been shot dead by police this morning in a botched robbery along First Avenue near Avenue hospital, Parklands area.
The four were driving away a Voxy van that they had stolen.
A pistol with eight bullets and ID cards were found on them.
Police said the thugs were on a mission to commit another robbery when they were intercepted and killed.
