A petition has been filed at Milimani Law Courts to compell the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate Westlands Member of Parliament Timothy Wanyonyi.
The petitioner ,Francis Awino also seeks to have the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) to charge the legislator over alleged misappropriation of public funds.
In papers seen by Ghetto Radio,Mr. Awino claims that in the year 2022, there was illegal and irregular use of the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) for Westlands Constituency.
He further alleged that misappropriated Ksh.17 million and Ksh.15.4 million in respect of bursaries had no documentary evidence to prove issuance
“A review of the project implementation status report presented for audit revealed that Hospital Hill Primary School had received Ksh.5.5 million for the construction of a library with a capacity of 200 pupils. Funds were deposited at the school’s Westlands main bank account from where payments were made,” reads court paper.

He also a alleged that a donor came on board and finalized the project but the unutilized funds have never been reallocated.
