He asserted that they’re busy pulling strings in the background geared towards the release of Lanez.
Additionally, he termed Lanez’s case a hatchet job with glaring inconsistencies.
“I wouldn’t go on record giving a date right now, but I will say that there are movements happening in the background, and the powers that be clearly see that this ws a hatchet job…They can see based on the evidence, or should I say lack of, everybody can see that, and so there are things happening right now… I believe it is much sooner than a lot of people think, much sooner than later…he’s coming home,” he asserted in part.
Lanez Is Set For Parole In 2029 & Release In 2033
Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the 2020 shooting of female rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
His parole is set for 2029, with his release slated for 2033.
During his conviction in August 2023, he was found guilty of three counts: assault with a semi-automatic gun, possession of a hidden and unregistered gun, and negligent use of a gun.
Since his sentencing, Lanez’s attorneys have continued to argue that their client was not granted a fair trial.
