Traffic Snarl Up As Nairobi Technical Students Strike

Students of Nairobi Technical Training Institute have taken to the streets to protest fee increment in the institution.

The students say that they were to begin continuous assessment tests today but were denied the chance to sit for the tests if one had not cleared the school fee.

They also said that the institution denied them access to the class rooms if one had not paid the full amount for this term’s fee.

The students through their student leader say they are dissapointed with the student dean for siding with the administration instead of heeding to their grievances.

Some of the students who spoke to ghetto radio said that the fee for all modules had been increased by over ten thousand shillings citing module two as an example whose fee was increased from thirty thousand shillings to forty two thousand shillings.
