A sigh of relief for Jeremiah Kioni factions as Political Party Dispute Tribunal issue orders stopping the Kanini Kega faction from convening any meetings of the jubilee party.
In the complaint filed by Jeremiah Kioni,David Murathe ,Kagwe Gichohi and the Jubilee party moved to the PPDT on grounds that the Kanini Kega factions has disregarded the earlier court directions that party’s leadership structure be maintained and no person is authorized to issue communication on behalf of the party other than Kioni.
“Interim conservatory orders are hereby issued restraining all parties hereto and/or their representatives jointly and severally from issuing any communication and/or making any public representations on behalf of Jubilee party.

Annulled Communications
The orders further annulled communication dated 6th and 13th June 2023 issued by the Kanini and any other communication and/or decisions that may have been taken by any of the parties on behalf of Jubilee Party during the pendency of these proceedings.
The petitioners further alleged the respondents released two notices seeking to withdraw the party from Azimio coalition and to hold a parallel National Delegates Conventions adding that the two notices are decision are on the Jubilee Party and should therefore await court judgments on whether the Kega faction has authority to issue the said notices.
“The respondents conduct is clearly therefore a willfull attempt to undermine the orders and authority and to defeat the substratum of the dipsutes before the Tribubal,”reads the papers.
