According to the traders the 3 day maandamano slated from tomorrow will have adverse effects on their business.
We can’t continue this way we must have a dialogue because after Raila and Ruto we shall have a nation called Kenya…we have been hit seriously with this maandamano and we are urging the Right honourable Raila Odinga to reconsider his decision and call off the maandamano ..Tunaomba utuhurumie.”Ronald Kariuki CBD trader.
According to the traders they are losing approximately 5 billion a day in a single maandamano.
“We are paying taxes,we have business to run and customers to serve but you do all these because everyone is scared during maandamano. The noble thing Raila and Ruto can do to this Country is to have a two men sit-down and unlock political stalemate that is before us or else we shall sunk into Political Skirmishes and a repeat of what took place in 2007.” Alice Njoroge said.
Meanwhile Azimio Leaders have affirmed their plans saying no amount of intimidation will deter them from holding demos.
Azimio leader Raila Odinga describes tomorrow’s maandamano as game-changing.
“Starting on Wednesday, be ready for the game-changing Maandamano.” Raila said.
Meanwhile Four Nyanza governors, Gladys Wanga of Homa Bay, James Orengo of Siaya, Prof. Anyang Nyong’o of Kisumu and Ochilo Ayacko of Migori all have also had their security withdrawn ahead of the countrywide three-day mass demonstrations.
