Tusker FC forward Ibrahim Joshua has once again made headlines with his unexpected return to the Tanzania national team.
The 29 year old is part of the 35-man squad that was on Monday 6 November evening released by the national team head coach Adel Amrouche
He joins the Tanzania’s squad set to take part in this month’s set of 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches.
His debut for Taifa Stars
His debut for Taifa Stars was in March last year, where he came on as a second half substitute in a 3-1 friendly win over Central African Republic.

Ibrahim Joshua’s Performance
The 2021/2022 season saw Ibrahim emerge as the top scorer for Tusker in his debut season in Kenya.
With a tally of 11 goals and four assists in 29 matches, He affirmed that He is much needed player for the club .
Joshua who has been categorized as one of the nine midfielders selected, features as a striker for Tusker FC.
Taifa Stars Upcoming Matches
Taifa Stars will begin their qualification campaign by facing Niger on November 18th at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech in Morocco, which Niger has chosen as its hosting venue.
Then, on November 21st, Tanzania will host Morocco at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam in another crucial match for both sides.
