Police in Seme, Kisumu County are holding two brothers suspected to be behind the death of a 30-year-old man after a fight over a woman.
Ken Onyango Ocholla was reportedly beaten to death and his body dumped in a shamba On Friday night during a night Vigil.
The two suspects Joshua Odhiambo and Saudi Okoth are allegedly killed Ocholla over love affair.
South Central Seme location Chief Caleb Apondi says they are also trailing the woman in question identified as Lucy Atieno.
“Today at around 8 am, I got a call from an area elder that there is a dead body dumped in a shamba. It is like the there was a fight between the killer and deceased,” says Apondi.
He says that they also managed to get clothes of the suspects which had blood stains, a pointer that there was a struggle.
“I did my investigations and got information that these people were fighting over a lady by name Lucy Atieno. We trailed the suspects’ whereabouts and we ended up arresting them. With us is certified evidence to probe these people,” added chief Apondi.
The two suspects, Joshua Odhiambo Nyamango and Daudi Okoth Nyamango are being held at Kombewa police station as investigation continue.
