Two candidates have tied this year to top the KCPE results list.
The two scored 453 marks out of a possible 500 marks, two marks lower than what was scored last year by the top candidate.
Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed says that a total of 1,052,364 candidates sat for the examination between 30th October and 1st November 2018.
Approximately 12,273 candidates managed to attained 400 marks and above.
Amina further states that there was an immense mark of improvement in the results compared to last year’s KCPE examination.
