Two Children rescued at Busia border from house-help who abducted them
Police have rescued two minors who were allegedly abducted by their house-help in Nairobi on Friday.
The two children aged eight and four were rescued by DCI detectives at the Busia border on their way to Kampala, Uganda on Sunday.
The 32 year old househelp Scovia Namataka had stolen the children when their parents had travelled to Meru to attend a kin’s burial.
“Coordinated efforts between Buruburu’s detectives and their counterparts at Busia border led to the interception of the suspect with the minors in a bus which was headed to Kampala, Uganda,” tweeted the DCI.
The suspect is in lawful custody awaiting arraignment.
