Two passengers narrowly escaped death along Moi Avenue Nairobi Central Business District after the car they were travelling in was involved in a road accident with a commuter bus belonging to City Shuttle Service.
According to the witnesses, the morning accident occurred when the over speeding taxi driver collided with the bus.
“The taxi driver was driving past speed limit so when it reached at the junction it collided with the bus which was on the wrong lane, ” a witness said.
The injured were taken to a private medical facility within the city centre and both car and bus were towed to central police station for investigations.

The National Transport and Safety Authority has urged Kenyans to keep safe and observe all traffic rules during this long holiday.
A recent report released by NTSA shows that more than 1,345 people have lost their lives since January.
From the 1,345 people, 457 were pedestrians, Drivers 127, Passengers 225, pillion passengers 137, motorcyclists 381 and pedal cyclists 18.
