Two University Students Die In School Campaigns
Two University students died and 33 others were injured after an overloaded bus they were travelling in lost control crushing some students underneath.
The Co-operative University College students were on a campaign for one of the aspirants for the student chair seat.
In a video shared on WhatsApp, students are seen hanging from the sides of the Matatu while some were chanting on top of the bus before it lost control.
NTSA director general Francis Meja has alleged that the driver of the bus was drunk at the time of the accident.
In a statement, he said the accident would have been avoided if the vehicle was not being driven carelessly and dangerously.
