President Uhuru Kenyatta today led Kenyans in celebrating the 55TH Madaraka day a ceremony that was conducted at Kinoru stadium Meru county.
The event was attended by high profile dignitaries among them deputy president William Ruto and former premier Raila Amollo Odinga.
In his address the president ordered that all accounting and procurement officers undergo lie detector test during fresh vetting.
He assured Kenyans that his governmennt will tolarate zero corruption and the relevant antigraft agencies including the office the dircetor of criminal investigation are fully funded, to lay substansive evidence for sucessful prosecution.
Kenyatta further continued with his peace messages to Kenyans saying the unity deal between him and opposition chief Raila and other political leaders will see Kenya prosper in terms of development.
