Uhuru Promises 1.3 Million Jobs For The Youth

President Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to create at least 6.5 million jobs in his second term should he be re-elected.

Speaking at the Kasarani stadium where he launched his manifesto, President Kenyatta said employment creation is at the heart of the next Jubilee administration’s priorities.

Uhuru stated that he is planning on creating 1.3 million jobs every year while creating partnerships with county governments to establish at least one industry in every county.

The President also pledged to offer paid internship for a period of one year for all college and university students.
