President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have asked the opposition CORD to follow the constitution in resolving their issues.
Speaking during the Madaraka Day celebrations, Uhuru faulted the CORD leaders for going against the constitution they voted and spent time to advocate for.
Uhuru absolved himself from any blame after he invited CORD leaders to celebrate Madaraka day in Nakuru but they failed to show up.
Deputy president William Ruto also reiterated Uhuru’s remarks saying the time that public business was deliberated over a cup of tea are gone.
He told CORD to respect the law just the same way the jubilee government respected the law by allowing them to hold their rally at Uhuru Park.
