President Uhuru Kenyatta has fired a salvo at DCI boss George Kinoti over his recent move to reopen Post Election Violence.

Speaking during the unveiling of the BBI signatures at BBI, Uhuru stated that Kenyans have forgotten what happened in 2007/08.

President stated that he learnt of the revival of the PEV cases on the newspapers. I cannot allow the reopening of the cases to happen.

“We have left that road, and some of these stuff we have buried. I cannot let this happen,” said Uhuru.

“You don’t think before you talk, you don’t talk before you act. You must always think before you do something,” he said .

Uhuru stated that he knows the importance of peace.

Kinoti on Monday hosted a number of PEV victims from Kiambaa who claimed that they had started to receive threats similar to those that they received in 2007/08.
