Uhuru to lead residents in cleaning up Uhuru Market

President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected  to join  residents  at Uhuru Market tomorrow  Makadara constituency on a monthly  clean up exercise organised by Nairobi city county government.

Environment executive committee  environment Larry Wambua says  the president will also be joined by United Nations Environmental Program officers and governor Mike Sonko where they also expected to clean Uhuru Market and plant trees.

The monthly clean up was launched by Nairobi county government to create awareness and maintain city environment a culture that is yet to pick up.

Wambua has called on the residents to come out in large number and participate in the  tomorrows’ exercise.

Ghetto Radio Limited has also been in forefront in advocating for a cleaner   and the need to support the exercise.
