President Uhuru Kenyatta On Tuesday caused a stir on Social media over his relationship with Jamaicans during his state visit to Jamaica.

Uhuru’s statement that “I can confirm given the fact that my wife’s brother’s mother comes from Jamaica and lived all her life in Kenya,” caused a stir with many people questioning why the president could not just say my mother in law has roots in Jamaica.

The statement caused laughter among social media users with many people stating that the president’s statement should be one of the reasons why Kenya should legalize bhang.

The legalize conversation has been trending on social media for quite some time now with the endorsement of the statement by Mike Mbuvi Sonko and other ODM leaders last week at Ken Okoth’s funeral reawakening the conversation.

What Uhuru actually meant to say was that his brother’s mother in law was Jamaican.

Apparently Uhuru’s brother Muhoho Kenyatta’s wife’s mother is the link between the First family and Jamaica.
