Ulinzi Starlets bounce back in FKF Women Premier League Round 2 action

Ulinzi Starlets made an upturn after trouncing Kayole Starlets 3-1 on Sunday, December 20, 2020, in the FKF Women Premier League round 2 action held at the Utalii Grounds.

Patricia Amaase steered a goal past Kayole Starlet’s defense putting Ulinzi Starlets in the lead at the 16th minute, Despite a dangerous tackle by Ulinzi Starlets Goalkeeper in the penalty area that sent her for an early bath, Kayole Starlets missed a chance from the spot, closing the first half scores at 1-0.

Upon resumption, Kayole Starlet’s Forward Faith Otieno replied with an equalizer at the 46th minute.

This was however short-lived as Ulinzi Starlets captain Neddy Okoth pulled one through past Kayole Starlet’s defense at the 49th minute and netted another goal at the 59th minute to cap of her brace.
