Jamaicans have elicited a raging war to a media publication ‘The Gleaner’ over the reporting of incarcerated Star Adidja Palmer commonly known as Vybz Kartel receiving the first dose of Astra Zeneca Covid 19 vaccine, the Clarks Singer was among the prisoners who prisoners who received the jab on Friday.
According to Jamaican’s, the jailed Singer enjoys a wide media coverage and now preference on Covid vaccine unlike other issues of national importance.
News of Kartel’s vaccination was also relayed by his attorney Isat Buchanan who revealed the Singer is responding well to the jab’s side effects by using pain killers only complaining of hunger.
“I saw Mr Palmer on Saturday and he is doing well. He is taking his panadol and even told me that the side effect he is experiencing is mostly hunger” Stated Vybz attorney Isat Buchanan.
Senator Mathew Samuda Intervened To Have Kartel Vaccinated
According to Vybz Kartel’s attorney Isat Buchanan, it wasn’t easy to have his client vaccinated due to the high risk involved in transportation of inmates from the Maximum Correctional Facility and it was only made possible after the intervention of Senator Mathew Samuda a minister without portfolio in the Ministry of National Security.
“I am happy not just as the dancehall entertainer’s attorney but to see that the Government and minister Samuda when times calls for governance he stepped up so the vaccine could be administered to the inmates” explained Buchanan. He disclosed the number of inmates already vaccinated as 200.

Why not use citizens who are more upstanding to promote vaccines? we gone to the dawgs mi tell yu.
