Uproar As Six Contestants Make It To Khaligraph’s Odibet Rap Challenge Finale


Khaligraph’s brain child rap battle that attracted sponsorship from leading betting company ‘OdiBets’ attracted grumbling and mumbling from netizens as six contestants made the cut  to the finals.

Barely a month when the championship was announced, rappers put their A game to play by submitting videos while doing their craft.

The Mazishi rapper revealed receiving more than 10,000 video’s of contestants.Daily lucky winners were awarded a token of 10,000 shillings.

Shaky Elimination Process

With the overwhelming number of participants, only the best were to earn a slot in the first top 20.

When Khaligraph produced the names of those he felt deserved to proceed to the next round he was hit with accusations of biasness and favouritism.Rapper’s Trabolee and Katapilla were said to be his closest friends with the latter having featured on Khaligraph’s ‘Khali Kartel’.

Setting A Panel Of Judges

Khaligraph sought the services of hip-hop players in aiding him in the judging process to avert the bad blood that was building up among hip hop lovers.

“Today am not going to do it by myself, I’ve decided to bring in a panel of judges who are going to assist me with the judging of these video’s,” said Khaligraph.

He went and named Veteran Hip hop Star Mwafrika,Scar (Wakadinali), Ondu The Street Lawyer and Miss Ruby.

Six Land Slot For Season Finale


The videos were then played before the judge’s with each providing his views toward each performer.

At the end, three females and three males made it to the finale despite the noise and they are Murasta, Ben C Again, Shekinah Karen, Achicho Software, Elisha Elai and Katapilla.

Each contestant has been provided with a voting code with the public playing a part in finding the ultimate winner and millionaire.
