A section of Bandani residents in Kisumu County are living in fear following the rising cases of insecurity within the estate.

This follows last week’s incident where a five-year old kid was abducted and strangled and another gentleman attacked at his home and robbed.

James Onyango told Ghetto Radio News that state of security within Bandani has been a nightmare.

“We have had so many cases of insecurity in this area and security agents have done nothing so far, I personally have called the area chief. It is sad that within last week, a five year old child was killed, and another man attacked at around 2am and robbed. We are living in fear,” says James.

James says that yesterday evening another body was discovered dumped around Bandani area.

“We have reported this matter but it further hurts that still we are encountering such cases like yesterday’s case,” he added.

They are now calling on the police to intervene and find them a solution on security matters.

Area Assistant chief Nancy Ochieng confirmed to Ghetto Radio that investigation has commenced and soon the perpetrators will be brought to book.
