Award Winning Kenyan Hip hop Group Wakadinali have caused a major uproar with the release of their new year rate card.
The group that comprises of Domani Scar and SewerSydaa has a rate that demands that anyone who wants an interview with the members should part with at least Ksh. 45,000.
Also known as Rong Rende or Zozonation the artists want a payment of Ksh. 50,000 for one of them and Ksh. 150,000 to feature in a song.
The rate card includes club charges that range from Ksh. 75,000 to 150,000.
The move has ureceived mixed reactions from fans with some praising them for finally commercializing their music while others are criticizing them for putting a way too expensive rate card.

“Recommend ngoma yao moja kali sijawaskia bado,” wrote @Brayoshavin.
“I guess most people see the wakadinali as some people who just came out of the blues, but these guys have been at it for some time. some years in the game for sure. siwezi complain, scar is one of the best rappers out there rn, and wakadinali are the best h/h group since k shaka,” said DennisKarani001.
