Veteran Music Producer Clemmo Mourns Father

Kenyan Legendary music producer Clement Rapudo commonly known as Clemmo is in mourning following the demise of his father William Rapudo.
Rapudo was a teacher who had taught in several schools within Nairobi.
Clemmo painfully announced the demise of his father in a short statement.
From the statement he also revealed that his father will be laid to rest this Saturday, May 22nd.
“It is with great pain and sorrow that we announce the demise of MR. WILLIAM RAPUDO, father to CLEMENT RAPUDO (CLEMO), the Director of NGOMMA VAS and CALIF RECORDS. Plans for his sendoff are underway. Burial is on 22/05/2021 Saturday. Thank You and be blessed” Clemmo said in a statement.
Clemmo is credited with popularising Genge Music through his stable ‘Calif Records’ which gave rise to the likes of Juacali, Nonini, and Flex .
To date he manages artist’s through his company Ngomma VAS which deals with distribution, marketing and royalty acquisition.
Artist’s such as Femi One, Ala C and Kabagazi have benefitted from the body among others. We wish the family peace during this trying moment.
